POSITION SUMMARY

Head of Accountability:
This position is to provide technical support to achieve the production target, making modifications approved to meet the revised operating and safety parameters while ensuring the integrity of the facility at any time.

Main activities:
• Provide technical assistance to the Operations group to connect with the Electrical and Instrumentation • discipline in order to meet production targets.
• To act as Duty Holder of Electricity (Authority Engineering - Electrical) approved the change (s) in fields related to electricity / equipment.
• Review of Electrical Safety work practices, assessing any personnel responsible for working in the field of Electric Power, in cooperation with related Hess Global Advisor - Electricity to assess and audit the implementation of the Electrical safe work practices on a regular basis.
• Address the issue of Electrical and Instrumentation for the facility upgrade / modification projects.
• Ensure that all upgrades / modifications made in accordance with the companys specifications and applicable international codes / standards and government regulations.
• Prepare technical specifications, etc. The scope of work for contractors.
• Develop scope of work for contractual matters Electrical and Instrumentation and participate in the bidding exercise
• Leading electrical activity and instruments to monitor the work performed by contractors and the design of third-party vendor.
• Act as a facilitator in root cause failure analysis for a major failure occurred at the facility related to the electrical and instrumentation problems.
• Coordinate the modification of small projects and conducted field visits to contractor facilities and work sites to ensure that the work is being done safely and meet the required quality standards.
• Prepare a work program, cost estimates, schedule and budget needs of the company.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues and team operations (production and maintenance).
• Perform a technical assessment of the problems at the facility and recommending changes to avoid recurrence and follow up with necessary action.
• Carefully review the design documents and evaluate with the help of all parties.
• Review the preventive maintenance program and a list of job duties to ensure that critical activities are included as needed companys.

REQUIREMENTS:
a) Education and Experience:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 7 years experience in a special facility in electrical engineering in oil and gas operations (required).

b) Technical Competency and Knowledge:
• Thorough knowledge of applicable codes, standards and specifications relating to the electricity company, Power Generation & Distribution, and Instrumentation and the ability to apply the same in the operation of the facility experience in the design, fabrication, testing, commissioning and operation of oil and gas facilities (required).
• Experience and understanding of other disciplines such as Structural, Mechanical Rotating good and Stationery, instrumentation, etc. (preferred).

c) basic skills:
• Computer: Very good in computer software (Excel & Word).
• Language: English both oral (speaking) and written.

d) Other Requirements:
• Ability to work under constant pressure.
• Working as a team with members of other disciplines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to train and coach others.
