MINING OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT


Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Mining Engineering
• With 7 years experience preferably with experience in mining open pit gold in a senior management role is increasingly
• POM qualification is an advantage

Skills and Abilities:
• Strong in people management and team leadership.

• Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa.

Primary Objectives:
• Determine the mining production activities to ensure activities run efficiently and productively. Monitor the achievement gap and solve the problem and comply with SHE standards.

The main duties and tasks
• Responsible for the safe and efficient management of all mining operations in lanut.
• Ensure all legal requirements are met.
• Develop annual budget and periodic forecasts and manage the cost of the Department.
• Develop and implement safety management systems in the Department of Mines to ensure a safe working environment with the goal of having an injury free work area.
• Ensure all staff work with the full terms of safe work practices.
• Promoting the environment in the department where all unsafe work practices and potential safety hazards are reported and co-workers at the mine site is proactively monitored.
• Review of data, such as maps, survey reports, and geological records, and confer with technical personnel, maintenance, and supervision to plan and direct the development of the mine
• Tours and inspect mines to detect and resolve production, equipment maintenance, safety, atmosphere, and personnel issues.
• Calculate the operating costs of mining or quarrying, estimating the potential revenue, and instructed the Pit Supervisor (mining & quarrying) to leave or open the mines, holes, or other work area.
• Leading, managing and directing a team of Mines.
• Any other duties as required by the Mines Manager commensurate with employee skills, competencies and training.


MINE SUPERINTENDENT TECHNICAL

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Mining Engineering
• With 5-7 years experience in mining open pit gold preferably with experience in a senior management role is increasingly

• Budgeting and designing long-term plans and short-term mine
• Develop annual budget and periodic forecasts and manage the cost of the Department.
• Experience and mastery of the Mining Software: Surpac
• Monitor and control all activities of the mining activities until the beginning of the end of activities to plan short term and long-term
• Leading a team of mine planners to ensure effective planning, coordination and continuous improvement.
